For the second year running, the German-Swiss team’s Pit Lane Park will visit the country’s capital city, Warsaw, and this time, local hero Kubica is expected to accompany it. “The BMW Sauber F1 Team Pit Lane Park is great,” said Kubica. “Last year in Warsaw more than 100,000 fans took the opportunity to find out more about Formula One. And I’m certain that a lot more people would have been there if Pit Lane Park had had a bigger capacity. The atmosphere was incredible. “I’m sure all the fans will be thrilled again with the fantastic attractions Pit Lane Park has to offer. Where else can you actually climb inside a monocoque or see a completely dismantled race car? My favourite activity in the park is the simulator. The rides are amazingly realistic.” The park has proved so popular in the past that it has been revamped this year to accommodate more fans. The impressive two-storey structure features numerous themed garages and attractions, while the 100-metre racetrack incorporated in the park now boasts grandstands for over 600 spectactors. During the three-day event, fans will be treated to drives by talented youngster Michael Christensen, Chinese GP2 star Ho-Pin Tung and, of course, Kubica. The attraction will be open in Warsaw from June 13-15, with Kubica taking charge of driving duties on Saturday June 14.
